O protagonismo de Rita Lee na subversão do amor romântico

    Rita Lee's songs contributed to feed the national rock imaginary in themes such as the celebration of freedom, rebellion and the profane. In addition to bringing these themes, his work contributed to adding an original element: the eroticization of romantic love. From the analysis of some of her main hits, we approach the role of the artist in the subversion of the love songs that predominated in Brazilian pop-rock.

    As canções de Rita Lee contribuíram para alimentar o imaginário do rock nacional em temas como a celebração da liberdade, da rebeldia e do que é profano. Além de trazer esses temas, seu trabalho contribuiu para adicionar um elemento original: a erotização do amor romântico. Aborda-se aqui, a partir da análise de alguns de seus principais sucessos, o protagonismo da artista na subversão das canções de amor que predominavam no pop-rock brasileiro.
