Resumen de L'estandardització lingüística: la dinamicitat d'un concepte calidoscòpic

El treball assumeix que la normativitat forma part de l’estudi científic del llenguatge. Estableix un itinerari entre l’actitud essencialment valorativa de la lingüística tradicional i la neoprescripció dels enfocaments comunicatius contemporanis.Aquests, malgrat les tensions amb els postulats de la lingüística moderna (estructuralista i generativista), durant la modernitat primerenca han potenciat una ideologia lingüística que descansa en una estimació homogènia i estàtica de la llengua.Una llengua que es cosifica en una varietat estàndard, referencial, cohesionadora del col·lectiu. El tombant del mil·lenni, de la mà de la modernitat tardana, patrocina una nova mirada on la identitat competeix amb la comunicació. La indexicalitat reclama protagonisme a una referencialitat cada cop més qüestionada. Nous constructes agafen protagonisme a l’hora de gestionar una interacció lingüística de gran complexitat. Una interacció on les llengües minoritzades han de trobar un encaix que ajude a incrementar el seu valor funcional.

This paper assumes that norms are part of the scientific study of language. It establishes an itinerary between the essentially evaluative attitude of traditional linguistics and the neo-prescription of contemporary communicative approaches.These, despite the tensions within the postulates of modern linguistics (structuralist and generativist), during the early modernity, there has been a promotion of a linguistic ideology that rests on a homogeneous and static estimation of the language. A language that is reified in a standard, referential, cohesive variety of the collective. The turn of the millennium, in the hands of late modernity, sponsors a new outlook where identity competes with communication. Indexicality demands prominence in an increasingly questioned referentiality. New constructs take center stage when it comes to managing a highly complex linguistic interaction. An interaction where minority languages need to find a way to help increase their functional value.
