    En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster se examina la Institución del acogimiento familiar dentro del Sistema de Protección de Menores español, centrando el enfoque en el ámbito andaluz. De esta forma, tras una necesaria aproximación a los diferentes instrumentos internacionales de protección, se define el concepto de niño y se analiza el concepto del interés superior del menor, eje vertebrador del sistema. A continuación, se realiza un estudio de los Objetivos de Derecho Sostenible desde el punto de vista de los derechos de la infancia, para pasar al estudio de la protección de niños, niñas y adolescentes en el marco europeo.

    Seguidamente se abordará la regulación del acogimiento familiar en el ordenamiento jurídico español, y se concretará su análisis en la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía.

    This Master´s Thesis examines the Institution of foster care within the Spanish Child Protection System, focusing on the Andalusian context. That´s why, after a necessary approach to the different international protection instruments, the concept of child is defined and the concept of the best interest of the child, backbone of the system, is analyzed. Next, a study of the Sustainable Development Goals is carried out from the point of view of children´s rights, to move on to the study of the protection of children and adolescents in the European framework. In this way, the regulation of foster care in the Spanish legal system is addressed, with the due specification and analysis of its regulation in the Autonomous Community of Andalucía.
