    El presente ensayo analiza cómo fue la relación entre Perón y la Iglesia Católica entre 1943 hasta 1955 y como ese enfrentamiento trasciende en el Sistema de Educación en todos los niveles, pero este estudio abordará principalmente el nivel superior universitario.

    En la primera parte se realiza un recorrido general por el contexto histórico desde la revolución de 1918 con la conformación de “La Universidad Reformista”, pasando por los gobiernos militares y el enfrentamiento entre el gobierno represivo y las Universidades, para continuar con las medidas que toma Perón al respecto, la conformación de la Universidad Obrera y el nuevo modelo de política en la educación superior.   En este documento se intenta evidenciar cronológicamente como fue la mutación producida en el Estado a medida que el presidente va adquiriendo más poder, hasta el punto de pretender supeditar a la Iglesia para sus fines políticos, al no conseguirlo, inicia una campaña de desacreditación de los dogmas Católicos y hasta pretende crear una doctrina cristiana peronista que la reemplace.  Todo esto va desencadenando una serie de medidas que acrecientan la brecha entre peronistas y antiperonistas, que terminara con el golpe de Estado que pondrá fin a su segundo gobierno.

    This essay analyzes what the relationship between Perón and the Catholic Church was like between 1943 and 1955 and how this confrontation transcends the Education System at all levels, but this study will mainly address the higher university level.

    In the first part, a general tour of the historical context is made from the revolution of 1918 with the formation of “The Reformist University”, passing through the military governments and the confrontation between the repressive government and the Universities, to continue with the measures that Perón takes in this regard, the formation of the Universidad Obrera and the new policy model in higher education.   This document attempts to show chronologically how the mutation occurred in the State as the president acquired more power, to the point of trying to subordinate the Church for his political purposes. When he failed to do so, he began a campaign to discredit the Catholic dogmas and even attempts to create a Peronist Christian doctrine to replace it.  All of this is triggering a series of measures that increase the gap between Peronists and anti-Peronists, which will end with the coup d’état that will put an end to his second government.
