    Cádiz enfrenta un desafío significativo en el que el turismo, aunque vital para su economía, comienza a ejercer una presión insostenible sobre sus habitantes. El crecimiento descontrolado del sector ha propiciado la especulación inmobiliaria y el aumento de los precios de la vivienda, dificultando el acceso a residencias asequibles para la población local. Además, el cierre de centros educativos a lo largo de los años ha dejado un vacío en la comunidad, evidenciando una crisis demográfica y social que afecta a todos los rangos de edad. Por tanto, es imperativo no eliminar el turismo, sino regularlo de manera sostenible, asegurando un equilibrio entre la oferta de viviendas turísticas y el acceso a la vivienda para los residentes. Asimismo, se debe priorizar la inversión en cultura, educación y servicios para preservar el patrimonio social de Cádiz, garantizando un entorno digno y enriquecedor para sus habitantes. Se requiere un compromiso sólido que anteponga las necesidades de los gaditanos a los intereses de unos pocos, enfatizando la soberanía de la comunidad sobre su propio territorio.

                 Cadiz faces a significant challenge in that tourism, although vital to its economy, is beginning to exert unsustainable pressure on its inhabitants. The uncontrolled growth of the sector has led to property speculation and rising house prices, making it difficult for the local population to access affordable housing. In addition, the closure of educational centres over the years has left a void in the community, evidencing a demographic and social crisis that affects all age groups. It is therefore imperative not to eliminate tourism, but to regulate it in a sustainable manner, ensuring a balance between the supply of tourist housing and access to housing for residents. Investment in culture, education and services must also be prioritised in order to preserve the social heritage of Cadiz, guaranteeing a dignified and enriching environment for its inhabitants. A solid commitment is required that puts the needs of the people of Cádiz before the interests of the few, emphasising the sovereignty of the community over its own territory.
