La plus ancienne comptine?: Une occurence méconnue de l'idéogramme de la «femme allaitante»

    This article offers a new translation of a legend from a music scene in the mastaba of Inti (South Abusir), considering a detailed lexicographic study of a hieroglyph appearing in the text: the ideogram-classifier of the [BREAST FEEDER]. This new understanding, supported by an iconographic analysis of the presence of harpists in the scene, thus allows for a different interpretation of the relief as a nursery rhyme, with both a sexual and religious connotation.

    Cet article présente une nouvelle traduction d’une légende de scène de musique du mastaba d’Inti (Abousir-Sud), à la lumière d’une étude lexicographique détaillée d’un hiéroglyphe apparaissant dans le texte: l’idéogramme-classificateur de l’[ALLAITANTE]. L’approche philologique, complétée d’une analyse iconographique de la présence de harpistes dans la scène, permet ainsi de proposer une interprétation du texte qui accompagne le relief comme une comptine à connotation à la fois sexuelle et religieuse
