    Las novelas El castillo ambulante y Los borrowers, ambas consideradas parte de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil, fueron retomadas por Studio Ghibli, productora japonesa de películas de animación. A partir de ambas textualidades, las figuras femeninas –Sophie y Arrietty—se erigen de manera disímil debido a los recursos y estrategias que utilizan las autoras de las obras literarias y los directores de las cintas japonesas. Con el término “transposición”, el análisis resulta complejo y obra literaria y cinta cinematográfica se enriquecen mutuamente. Si se tienen en cuenta  las cuatro textualidades, es posible un abordaje mucho más fructífero no sólo para la investigación sino también para pensarlo en términos pedagógicos, ya sea para aulas de estudios secundarios, pero también superiores.

    The novels Howl's Moving Castle and The Borrowers, both considered part of Children's and Young Adult Literature, were studied by Studio Ghibli, a Japanese animated film producer. The female figures –Sophie and Arrietty—are erected in a dissimilar way due to the resources and strategies used by the authors of the novels and the directors of the japanese films. By using the term transposition, the analysis becomes complex and both, novels and cinematographic film, mutually enrich each other. If the four textualities are taken into account, a much more fruitful approach is possible not only for research but also for thinking about it in pedagogical terms, whether for high school or higher education classrooms.
