Imperfecciones Controladas: Integrando lo natural en la gráfica digital arquitectónica

    La digitalización en la representación gráfica arquitectónica ha llevado a una búsqueda de perfección, que a menudo omite la autenticidad y la irregularidad del mundo real. Este artículo aborda cómo la inclusión deliberada de "imperfecciones controladas" puede reintroducir la humanidad y la autenticidad en estas formas de representación, mejorando la experiencia estética y la conexión emocional del espectador.

    El objetivo del estudio es explorar el rol de las imperfecciones en la representación gráfica arquitectónica digital, argumentando que pueden enriquecer la narrativa visual y la percepción estética. La metodología tiene por base un análisis con enfoque fenomenológico y hermenéutico de la propuesta Rustic Whispers: Corten Dreams in Italy's Countryside, para el concurso Rural Housing: The Adaptive Reuse o an Italian Cascina, en donde se identifican elementos compositivos que se dirigen hacia la integración de elementos irregulares y naturales en la representación gráfica, mientras esta se desenvuelve en el escenario discursivo de las competiciones arquitectónicas.

    Los resultados principales del análisis muestran que la integración de estas imperfecciones no solo aumenta el realismo de las representaciones, sino que también fomenta una mayor conexión entre el espectador y la obra. Las representaciones enriquecidas con imperfecciones invitan a una exploración más profunda y ofrecen una narrativa visual más envolvente y sensorial. Se concluye que la adopción de este concepto, en las representaciones digitales arquitectónicas, desafía la homogeneidad y la esterilidad de la perfección digital, y fomenta una arquitectura más humana y conectada con su entorno.

    The digitization in architectural graphic representation has led to a quest for perfection that often overlooks the authenticity and irregularity of the real world. This article addresses how the deliberate inclusion of "controlled imperfections" can reintroduce humanity and authenticity into these forms of representation, enhancing the aesthetic experience and the emotional connection of the viewer.

    The study aims to explore the role of imperfections in digital architectural graphic representation, arguing that they can enrich the visual narrative and aesthetic perception. The methodology is based on a phenomenological and hermeneutic analysis of the proposal "Rustic Whispers: Corten Dreams in Italy's Countryside" for the competition “Rural Housing: The Adaptive Reuse of an Italian Cascina”, in which compositional elements that lead to the integration of irregular and natural elements in the graphic representation are identified, as it unfolds in the discursive scenario of architectural competitions.

    The main results of the analysis show that the integration of these imperfections not only increases the realism of the representations but also promotes a greater connection between the viewer and the work. Representations enriched with imperfections invite deeper exploration and offer a more immersive and sensory visual narrative. In conclusion, the adoption of this concept in digital architectural representations challenges the homogeneity and sterility of digital perfection, promoting a more human architecture connected with its environment.
