    El perfil productivo de Entre Ríos se orienta principalmente hacia el sector primario e industrial, caracterizándose por el uso intensivo de materias primas. Desde una perspectiva estructuralista, este estudio sostiene que el crecimiento económico sostenible está ligado a la diversificación de la matriz productiva y a una mayor participación de sectores intensivos en conocimiento, con la industria manufacturera como pilar central. En las últimas décadas, los Servicios Empresariales han ganado relevancia en la región por su capacidad de añadir valor a los procesos industriales y mejorar la competitividad mediante el capital intelectual.El análisis de la evolución del empleo formal en los departamentos de la provincia entre 2014 y 2022 revela que, aunque no hubo una transformación estructural profunda en la demanda de empleo registrado, sí se observaron cambios significativos en sectores y territorios específicos. Sectores como la salud y educación aumentaron su peso relativo en la estructura laboral, mientras que el sector manufacturero mostró un crecimiento importante en ciertos departamentos, especialmente en actividades como la producción de maquinaria y la reparación de equipos. Además, se observó una relación entre la especialización en manufactura y en servicios empresariales en varias áreas, sugiriendo una complementariedad en el entramado productivo departamental.

    The productive profile of Entre Ríos is mainly oriented toward the primary and industrial sectors, characterized by intensive use of raw materials. From a structuralist perspective, this study argues that sustainable economic growth is tied to the diversification of the productive matrix and greater participation of knowledge-intensive sectors, with the manufacturing industry as a central pillar. In recent decades, Business Services have gained relevance in the region due to their ability to add value to industrial processes and enhance competitiveness through intellectual capital.

    The analysis of the evolution of formal employment in the province's departments between 2014 and 2022 reveals that, although there was no deep structural transformation in the demand for registered employment, significant changes were observed in specific sectors and territories. Sectors such as health and education increased their relative weight in the labor structure, while the manufacturing sector showed significant growth in certain departments, especially in activities like machinery production and equipment repair. Additionally, a relationship between specialization in manufacturing and business services was noted in several areas, suggesting complementarity within the departmental productive framework.
