    En este trabajo se reconstruye el proceso de escritura, recepción y reelaboración del libro Marx y América Latina del marxista argentino José Aricó. Poniendo como centro del análisis la interpretación del problema del eurocentrismo en la obra de Marx, reconstruimos las fuentes a través de las cuales Aricó elabora sus hipótesis, las lecturas suscitadas por el libro y los consecuentes ajustes de cara a la segunda y tercera edición del libro, y las relaciones que pueden establecerse entre sus argumentos y el debate contemporáneo en el marxismo y las ciencias sociales y humanas alrededor del carácter eurocéntrico del pensamiento de Marx.

    In this work, the process of writing, reception and reworking of the book Marx and Latin America by the Argentine Marxist José Aricó is reconstructed. Placing as the center of the analysis the interpretation of the problem of Eurocentrism in Marx's work, we reconstruct the sources through which Aricó elaborates his hypotheses, the readings raised by the book and the consequent adjustments for the second and third edition of the book, and the relationships that can be established between his arguments and the contemporary debate in Marxism and the social and human sciences around the Eurocentric character of Marx's thought.
