    L’objectiu d’aquest article és donar a conèixer l’existència i la finalitat de la metrologia científica, mitjançant un repàs a la seva història, la seva vinculació a la tecnologia mitjançant la definició del sistema internacional d’unitats (SI) i l’estat actual de les definicions de les magnituds.

    The aim of this paper is to introduce the existence and purpose of scientific metrology by making a review of its history, of its link to technology through the definition of the International System of Units (SI), and of the current state of the definitions of magnitudes.
