    El presente trabajo revisita la construcción de un programa de investigación weberiano en trabajo social. En el marco de un estudio sobre los discursos que sostuvieron la intervención social del Estado en el período 2015-2019 en vínculo con efectos y fenómenos de mayor duración temporal, la intención del artículo es identificar las contribuciones que se pueden rescatar de la sociología política y la metodología elaborada por Weber en relación con el análisis del discurso. En tal sentido, se presentan diferentes elementos que viabilizaron la investigación y que emergieron en su desarrollo. Mediante una exposición que pone a dialogar la perspectiva orientadora, la construcción teórica-metodológica y los hallazgos del estudio realizado, el artículo pretende ofrecer reflexiones a partir de una reactualización de los desarrollos weberianos.

    This paper revisits the construction of a Weberian research program in social work. Within the framework of a unique study on the discourses that supported the social intervention of the State in the years 2015-2019 in connection with effects and phenomena of longer duration, the article intends to identify the contributions that can be rescued from political sociology, and the methodology developed by Weber in connection with discourse analysis. In this sense, different elements that made the research viable and that emerged in its development are presented. Through an exposition that brings into dialogue the guiding perspective, the theoretical-methodological construction, and the study findings, the article aims to offer reflections based on a re-updating of Weberian developments, thereby engaging the readers with the practical implications of the research.
