    En este trabajo se analiza el episodio de «La espada arrojada al lago» en «La Demanda del Santo Grial» (1515 y 1535), con objeto de comprender cómo pudo ser interpretado en la Castilla bajomedieval y en la del primer tercio del siglo XVI.
