El presente trabajo revisa el conjunto de arreos de caballo greco-helenísticos publicados en 1896por Erich Pernice. Se trata de un grupo de elementos funcionales y decorativos excepcionales quepueden reconstruirse de manera precisa comparándolos con sus paralelos reales e iconográficos.Pero el interés del estudio está también en establecer su excepcionalidad, su carácter grecomacedonio y su cronología, que servirán para entender sus paralelos distribuidos por elMediterráneo y, de manera muy destacada, en la Península Ibérica.

This paper examines the group of Greco-Hellenistic horse harnesses published in 1896 by ErichPernice. This is a group of exceptional elements, both functional and decorative, which can beaccurately reconstructed by comparing them with their real and iconographic parallels. But theinterest of the study also lies in establishing their exceptionality, their Greco-Macedonian originand their chronology, which will help in understanding the parallels distributed throughout theMediterranean and, most notably, in the Iberian Peninsula.
