  • Resumen
    • Gender violence persists as a prevalent and serious manifestation of discrimination that affects women, generating significant inequality. This study aims to determine the perception and needs of both the administrative and missionary staff of the State Attorney General's Office and the victims of gender violence in Riobamba. The aim is to understand the experiences and challenges faced by both groups to identify critical areas that require intervention and improvement. The findings revealed that many victims and family members face difficulties in accessing the services of the State Attorney General's Office, mainly due to the lack of clear information about the procedures. In addition, deficiencies were detected in the speed of care and staff empathy, as well as dissatisfaction with the training received and the availability of resources. Officials reported high levels of stress and exhaustion, attributed to workload and exposure to traumatic cases. These deficiencies have served as the basis for proposing an improvement plan that not only seeks to improve the quality of services for victims and their families, but also to create a healthier and more satisfying work environment.
