    La educación financiera brinda la capacidad de comprender los conceptos básicos de las finanzas, así como el adecuado manejo del dinero. El objetivo de este artículo de reflexión se basó en identificar la importancia que tiene la Educación Financiera para las Mipymes en Colombia para lograr un crecimiento sostenido en los mercados, combatir el desconocimiento, reducir las dificultades sobre el futuro en el desarrollo empresarial y posibilitar la toma de decisiones para los créditos financieros. Esta investigación se realizó mediante un análisis en diversos artículos enfocados en la importancia de la educación financiera en Colombia. Con esta investigación se concluyó que los microempresarios no cuentan con una adecuada formación en cuanto a temas de educación financiera y de administración que inciden en la toma de decisiones.

    Financial education provides the ability to understand the basic concepts of finance, as well as the proper management of money. The objective of this reflection article was based on identifying the importance of financial education for MSMEs in Colombia to achieve sustained growth in the markets where visually highlighted the low level of knowledge they have, the difficulty that this generates in the future in their business development and decision making in terms of financial credits. This article was carried out through an analysis of several articles focused on the study topic "Importance of financial education in Colombia". With this research it was concluded that microentrepreneurs do not have adequate training in financial education and financial management, which impacts on decision-making in the area of finance.
