    Se realizó un estudio cuyo propósito fue evidenciar que a través de un RED es posible fortalecer la competencia de interpretación en las ciencias naturales. En la aplicación del diseño del recurso participaron 15 estudiantes del grado sexto de la I. E. El Salvador, del municipio de Pueblorrico, Antioquia, quienes fueron la muestra para la aplicación de los instrumentos de investigación. Estos instrumentos se listan en: el cuestionario de prueba diagnóstica, un formato para la observación durante la prueba piloto del RED y la entrevista al final para la valoración del RED, una vez culminada la exploración dentro del recurso. Los resultados del diagnóstico realizado evidencian que los estudiantes tienen diversos vacíos conceptuales en sus presaberes; así mismo, durante la observación se evidenció que el OVA llenó las expectativas en cuanto a funcionalidad e innovación y en la encuesta final se pudo concluir que el recurso aportó motivación y un aprendizaje más dinámico, interesante y divertido. Por lo tanto, se concluye que, por medio de la utilización de un RED, se puede potencializar la competencia interpretativa, provocando el interés necesario en el estudiante para que se apropie de la construcción de su propio aprendizaje.

    A study was carried out whose purpose was to demonstrate that through a RED it is possible to strengthen the interpretation competence in the natural sciences. In the application of the resource design, 15 students from the sixth grade of the I. E. El Salvador, from the municipality of Pueblorrico, Antioquia, participated, who were the sample for the application of the research instruments. These instruments are listed in: the diagnostic test questionnaire, a format for observation during the RED pilot test and the interview at the end for the RED assessment, once the exploration within the resource is complete. The results of the diagnosis made show that the students have various conceptual gaps in their pre-knowledge; Likewise, during the observation it was evidenced that the OVA met the expectations in terms of functionality and innovation and in the final survey it was possible to conclude that the resource provided motivation and more dynamic, interesting and fun learning. Therefore, it is concluded that, through the use of a RED, interpretative competence can be potentiated, provoking the necessary interest in the student so that they take ownership of the construction of their own learning.
