The studies about rubber production systems have been preferentially designed to evaluate their productive characteristics, therefore even being a system of agricultural production, in households that work in this type of systems, their food security status is unknown, For the analysis efforts have been made separately feeding-production system. To remedy this analytical weakness in a case study, will undoubtedly establish whether there is a relationship between the types of rubber farms and their status in terms of access and self-sufficiency of their food and thus strengthen or reorient the exercises that are being carried out in this regard. The present work is of quantitative cut and was carried out in the Department of Caquetá with rubber producing families located in the north, center and south of this. The results allowed to identify that although they are all farms of peasant agriculture, there are about five different types due to the heterogeneity of their physical, social, human, productive and economic variables and this is directly related to the current state of their food autonomy.
