    RESUMEN: En este artículo intentaré explorar los orígenes remotos del modelo de autor al que adscribe Juan Luis Martínez: la figura del copista medieval, del comentarista o glosador. Para ello recurriré, fundamentalmente, a En el viñedo del texto (2002) de Ivan Illich fuente secundaria clave del Didascalicon (s. XII) de Hugo de San Víctor.

    ABSTRACT: In this article I will try to explore the remote origins of the author model to which Juan Luis Martínez attributes: the figure of the medieval copyist, commentator or glossator. For this I will fundamentally resort to In the Vineyard of the Text (2002) by Ivan Illich, a key secondary source of the Didascalicon (12th century) by Hugues de Saint Victor.
