La ricezione delle Rime di Gaspara Stampa avvenne molto tardi nell’area germanofona in un’antologia del xviii secolo. In compenso, la ricezione novecentesca è un fenomeno straordinario sia per quel che riguarda la traduzione delle poesie di Gaspara Stampa che per la sua presenza in testi letterari di Rainer Maria Rilke, Isolde Kurz e Ingeborg Bachmann. Il saggio si propone di presentare la ricca serie di traduzioni di Magda Janssen, Leo Graf Lanckoroński e Eva Martersteig pubblicate in sette volumi di vario formato tra il 1922 e il 1948, sottolineando il ruolo decisivo di Rilke, e l’ultima traduzione di Christoph Ferber uscita nel 2002, nonché la presenza delle poesie di Gaspara Stampa nelle antologie di poesia italiana in lingua tedesca

The reception of Gaspara Stampa’s Rime came very late in the German-speaking area with only one of her poems in an 18th century anthology. On the other hand, the 20th-century reception is an extraordinary phenomenon in terms of both the translation of Gaspara Stampa’s poems and her presence in literary texts by Rainer Maria Rilke, Isolde Kurz and Ingeborg Bachmann. This essay presents the rich series of translations published in various formats between 1922 and 2002, the presence of Gaspara Stampa’s poems in anthologies of Italian poetry in German as well as the creative reception of the poetess in Rilke, Bachmann and Kurz which ranges from the figure-symbol in Rilke to the character in a story in Kurz to a single emblematic line in Bachmann, but always in the same context of poetic reflection on the phenomenon of love.
