    En el siguiente estudio histórico venimos a exponer el trabajo realizado a partir de la localización de una fotografía mal catalogada del retablo original de la parroquia de la Purísima Concepción en Galaroza. Dicha foto ha sido el punto de partida para el desarrollo de esta investigación, que pretende relacionar dicha imagen con las conocidas hasta el momento. Tras este análisis, nos centraremos en desgranar algunos de los aspectos más significativos del origen de este retablo y el fin de este el 25 de julio de 1936 en el marco de los movimientos anticlericales desarrollados durante la Guerra Civil española (1936-1939). Por último, y como enfoque novedoso para la interpretación y difusión del patrimonio de la localidad, presentaremos la recreación virtual del retablo mayor de la Iglesia Parroquial de la Purísima Concepción de Galaroza.

    In the following historical study, we come to expose the work carried out from the discovery of an unpublished photograph of the original altarpiece of the parish of the Immaculate Conception in Galaroza. This photo has been the starting point for the development of this research. In the first place, to be able to relate said image with those known up to now. After this analysis, we will focus on describing some of the most significant aspects of the origin of this altarpiece and its end on July 25, 1936 within the framework of the anticlerical movements developed during the Spanish Civil War. Finally, and as a novel approach for the interpretation and dissemination of the heritage of the town, we will present the three-dimensional recreation of the main altarpiece of the parish church of the Immaculate Conception of Galaroza.
