Jerez preserves a rich ceramic heritage in its streets and municipal area, crafted in the Triana workshops since their revival in the mid-19th century. A signifi cant portion of these pieces are devotional altarpieces, along with decorative tiles applied to architecture, advertising panels, and street signs, among others. The lack of appreciation for these works until very recently has resulted in the loss of many. Our main objective is to begin an inventory to raise social awareness and promote their protection, recognizing that many more pieces, worthy of discovery and preservation, can be added in future research
