    La postmodernidad ha sido caracterizada por el uso constante del relativismo para poder reinterpretar y resignificar todo concepto concreto y objetivo relacionado con la especie humana. La crisis de identidad derivada de la adopción de ideologías, el materialismo, la pérdida de sentido deontológico y de la dignidad humana están simbióticamente relacionadas con el problema cultural, filosófico, social y tecnocientífico que trae consigo la relativización de conceptos, los cuales se analizan en la investigación social de hoy y repercuten en la comprensión bioética del ser humano.

    Entender al sujeto postmoderno y el relativismo que lo permea permite que el filósofo, el antropólogo, el bioeticista, el politólogo, el sociólogo, el psicólogo, entre otros, puedan considerar como factor el problema que suscita una perspectiva relativista en un contexto materialista, individualista y de cosificación de la especie humana en los diferentes ámbitos de investigación social. No todo relativismo es nocivo, pero hay uno en particular que atrae a las masas de sujetos postmodernos y que atañe a una mayor crisis ideológica, deontológica y social actualmente: el Relativismo de Segundo Orden como problema bioético.

    Postmodernity has been characterized by the constant use of relativism to be able to modify and re-signify every concrete and objective concept that is related to the human species. The identity crisis through the adoption of ideologies, materialism, the loss of deontological sense and human dignity are symbiotically related to the cultural, philosophical, social and techno-scientific problem that brings with it the relativization of concepts that are analyzed in the social research today and impact the bioethical understanding of human beings.

    Understanding the postmodern subject and the relativism that permeates it allows the philosopher, the anthropologist, the bioethicist, the political scientist, the sociologist, the psychologist, among others, to consider as a factor the problem that a relativist perspective raises in a materialist, individualist context and reification of the human species in the different areas of social research.

    Not all relativism is harmful, but there is one in particular that attracts the masses of postmodern subjects and that concerns a greater ideological, deontological and social crisis today: Second-Order Relativism as a bioethical problem.
