    A inicios del siglo XX, la ciudad de Viña del Mar era uno de los polos industriales más relevantes de la zona central de Chile. Se hace entonces relevante analizar las fortalezas y los límites de las estrategias de inserción sindical del partido que alcanzó la hegemonía al interior del movimiento obrero local, como fue el POS-PCCh entre 1913 y 1927 entre los obreros de la CRAV y la Sociedad de Maestranza y Galvanización de Viña del Mar.

    At the beginning of the 20th century, the city of Viña del Mar was one of the most important industrial centers in central Chile. It then becomes relevant to analyze the strengths and limits of the union insertion strategies of the political party that achieved hegemony within the local labor movement, such as the SWP-CPCh between 1913 and 1927 in the specific cases of the CRAV and the Viña del Mar Maestranza and Galvanización Society.
