El boletín Juventud surge en el contexto de la II República y enfocado en preservar los valores católicos entre la juventud gijonesa. Por eso, el objetivo de este estudio es identificar la importancia de este boletín para los jóvenes católicos de Gijón en la II República. Para ello se analizarán los 34 números recogidos a través de la metodología histórico-educativa, teniendo como resultado que el rotativo defendía una posición de apoyo al clero de la época. Estas publicaciones representan una ventana a los valores y tensiones, siendo crucial para comprender la interacción entre educación, religión y sociedad.

The Juventud bulletin arose in the context of the Second Republic and focused on preserving Catholic values among the youth of Gijón. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify the importance of this bulletin for young Catholics in Gijón during the Second Republic. To this end, the 34 issues collected will be analysed through the historical-educational methodology, with the result that the newspaper defended a position of support for the clergy of the time. These publications represent a window on values and tensions, being crucial to understand the interaction between education, religion and society.
