    La fraternidad formó parte de la tríada revolucionaria francesa, pero no ha tenido el mismo despliegue que los otros dos ideales ético-políticos. El presente artículo muestra, por un lado, el estado de la cuestión sobre la fraternidad como categoría ético-política, su olvido y sus rasgos esenciales. Por otro, esta investigación muestra el valor de la filosofía de Hermann Cohen y su aporte al debate actual sobre la fraternidad. La categoría del prójimo es central en su obra y ayuda a revisar y ampliar el ideal revolucionario de la fraternidad.

    Fraternity was part of the French revolutionary triad, but it has not had the same deployment as the other two ethico-political ideals. This article presents, on the one hand, the state of the question of fraternity as an ethical-political category, its neglect and its essential features. On the other hand, this research highlights the philosophy of Hermann Cohen and his contribution to the current debate on fraternity.  The category of the neighbour is central to his work and helps to revise and expand the revolutionary ideal of fraternity.
