Transferências culturais, imprensa e periódicos: da Gazette d’Augsbourg à Revue de Métaphysique et de Morale

    Research on cultural transfers aims to test new possibilities for going beyond the na-tional framework of cultural history and examining the process of moving a cultur-al object from an initial context to a host context. The focus is on the role of the var-ious mediators and the inevitable semantic reinterpretation of the import. Following the example of the Augsburger Zeitungand its most illustrious contributor, Hein-rich Heine, the German press of the mid-19th century focused on the social, politi-cal and artistic situation in Paris, the tra-ditional laboratory of revolutions. In an-other sense, and like many other publica-tions of the time, the Revue de Métaphy-sique et de Morale, at the end of the 19th century, was only interested in German philosophy – i.e., its way of thinking about the world – with the aim of drawing on their debates to develop his own philoso-phy, but without submitting to them. The article focuses on this circulation of ideas between the two countries through period-icals.

    As pesquisas sobre transferências cul-turais têm procurado testar novas pos-sibilidades para ir além do quadro na-cional da história cultural e examinar o processo de transferência de um objeto cultural de um contexto inicial para um contexto de recepção. A ênfase é colo-cada no papel dos diferentes mediado-res e na inevitável reinterpretação se-mântica da importação. A partir do exemplo da Gazette d'Augsburg e de seu colaborador mais ilustre, Heinrich Hei-ne, a imprensa alemã de meados do século XIX concentrou-se na conjuntura social, política e artística de Paris, o tra-dicional laboratório de revoluções. Em outro sentido, e como muitas outras publicações da época, a parisiense Re-vue de Métaphysique et de Morale, no final do século XIX, só estava interessada na filosofia alemã, ou seja, em sua maneira de refletir sobre o mundo, com a finali-dade de se aproveitar de seus debates para a elaboração de sua própria filoso-fia, mas sem se submeter a eles. É sobre a circulação de ideias entre os dois paí-ses por meio dos periódicos que o arti-go se concentra.
