    El artículo muestra la recepción del tratado De vocatione omnium gentium de Próspero de Aquitania a lo largo de la historia. De modo particular destaca la lectura de la obra realizada mil años después de su publicación por José de Acosta y los efectos de dicho libro en América para beneficio de la misión evangelizadora de los nuevos pueblos.

    The article shows the reception of the treatise of Prosper of Aquitaine De vocatione omnium gentium throughout history. Particularly noteworthy is the reading of the work carried out by José de Acosta a thousand years after its publication and the consequential effects in America for the benefit of the mission to the new peoples.
