    • This article presents the work of the ulema Ibn Rašīq (m. 446 H./1054 C.A.) from Almería, Kitāb al-Nafaqāt, a very special composition focused on Islamic Family Law, on which it has been made an accurate analysis of its content and form, and also the life of the author, paying particular attention to issues related with the nafaqa and its legal recipients who are wife, children, orphans, grandparents, slaves and beasts. Study of love and sexual intercourse in classical Arabic poetry, as Ibn Qutayba shows it in his anthology ‘Uyūn al-aḫbār, and in the section known as Kitāb al-nisā’. The study includes poems and prose in Arabic, accompanied by the Spanish translation made by the author.
