    En el presente artículo se hace una revisión sistemática o evaluativa de carácter descriptivo- exploratorio donde se buscaron los estudios más relevantes de forma sistematizada en relación a la terminología anatómica, se abordó su historia, su evolución hasta el presente y las dificultades existentes para su correcta aplicación y difusión.

    In the present article a systematic or evaluative review of descriptive-exploration nature is made, where the most relevant studies searched in a systematic way in relation to the anatomic terminology, its history, its evolution to the present and the existing difficulties for its correct application and dissemination were addressed.
