    Este trabajo de investigación resalta la importancia del patrimonio inmaterial, como las batallas históricas, y aboga por una revisión legislativa para su protección. Se enfatiza la inclusión de la historia local en la educación para promover el interés y la identidad cultural. La metodología participativa con docentes y alumnos facilita el aprendizaje significativo. Aunque se enfrenta a limitaciones en las fuentes, el trabajo subraya la necesidad de colaboración y creatividad en la investigación. En conclusión, se destaca la importancia del patrimonio inmaterial y su integración en la educación y la legislación patrimonial tomando de referencia la batalla de Algeciras.

    This research paper highlights the importance of intangible heritage, such as historical battles, and advocates for a legislative review for their protection. Emphasis is placed on the inclusion of local history in education to promote cultural interest and identity. Participatory methodology with teachers and students facilitates meaningful learning. Although facing limitations in the sources, the work underlines the need for collaboration and creativity in research. In conclusion, it highlights the importance of intangible heritage and its integration in education and heritage legislation, taking the Battle of Algeciras as a reference.
