"Ex oficina atici": un taller cerámico de finales del s. I-inicios s.II dC en la Villa romana de Vinamargo (Castelló de la Plana, Castelló)

    Durante la excavación de la villa de Vinamargo, en Castelló de la Plana, se documentó un pequeño testar donde se depositaron los deshechos de una producción cerámica que fue descartada. Los restos hallados en este testar nos han permitido conocer la existencia de un taller de producción cerámica en la villa, e incluso conocer el nombre del alfarero, "Atici". Esta producción, que puede encuadrarse a finales del s.I-inicios del s. II d.C., incluye cantimploras, lucernas, anforillas, askoi y tintinnabulum, de los que solo hemos hallado las extremidades inferiores.

    During the excavation of the villa of Vinamargo, in Castelló de la Plana, a smalltestar was documented where the remains of a ceramic production that was discarded were deposited. The remains found in the testar have allowed us to known the existence of a ceramic production workshop in the villa, and even to know the name of the potter, "Atici". This production, which can be dated to the end of the 1st - beginning of the 2nd century A.D., includes canteens, lamps, amphorae, askoi and tintinnabulum, of which we have only found the lower extremities.
