    El artículo aborda el estudio de las emociones sobre la arquitectura a partir del interior y el exterior del museo Soumaya de Ciudad de México; en particular identifica las causas que las generan. Se realizaron veinticuatro entrevistas a personas que ya habían visitado y habitado el museo. Los resultados muestran que el exterior del museo evoca emociones positivas, como admiración y satisfacción, asociadas a su forma. El interior, por su parte, genera una mezcla de emociones negativas, como aburrimiento, y positivas, como relajación, atribuibles a su diseño minimalista y a la falta de conexión con el exterior.

    This essay examines the emotions surrounding architecture, from the interior and exterior of the Soumaya Museum in Mexico City; in particular, identifying the causes that generate the said emotions. Twenty-four interviews were conducted with people who had already visited the museum. The results show that the exterior of the museum evokes positive emotions, such as admiration and satisfaction, associated with its form. The interior, on the other hand, generates a mixture of negative emotions, such as boredom, and positive ones, such as relaxation, attributable to its minimalist design and lack of connection with the outside world.
