    Este texto es, ante todo, un homenaje a un cliente que me ayudó a reflexionar sobre el significado del patrimonio construido de la Iglesia en Portugal. Un cliente informado, claro en el encargo de proyectos y exigente en sus resultados, pero siempre disponible para reflexionar sobre el propósito y el significado del espacio religioso, así como sobre la responsabilidad de la Iglesia católica en el apoyo a la producción artística y cultural contemporánea, en línea con lo que ha practicado a lo largo de su historia.Este texto es también una despedida para un amigo.

    This text is, above all, a tribute to a client who helped me to reflect on the significance of the Church’s built heritage in Portugal. An informed client, clear in commissioning projects and demanding in his results, but always available to reflect on the purpose and meaning of religious space, as well as on the responsibility of the Catholic Church in supporting contemporary artistic and cultural production, in line with what it has practised throughout its history.This text is also a farewell to a friend.
