    El objetivo del presente trabajo fue proponer Estrategias didácticas sustentadas en herramientas digitales para fortalecer el hábito lector en los estudiantes de Básica Media de la Unidad Educativa Esperanza Eterna, Provincia de Pastaza, parroquia Puyo, sector la primavera, durante el año lectivo 2023-2024. En lo Metodológico, se circunscribió a una investigación cuantitativa, tipo descriptiva, donde se aplicó como técnica para recabar datos a la encuesta y como instrumento una escala de Likert a la muestra intencional de 31 niños de la institución. Los resultados dan cuenta de la necesidad de hacer la propuesta, dado que muchos de los estudiantes prefieren realizar las actividades con la ayuda de un dispositivo electrónico que tenga instalada alguna plataforma virtual, por lo que al jugar también leen y en consecuencia aprenden, fortaleciendo su hábito lector. Se concluyó que las herramientas digitales para el fomento y fortalecimiento del hábito lector en los niños son muy importantes, en virtud de que, a través de ella, se demuestra el interés que los estudiantes apuestan para empezar un hábito, en este caso el de la lectura.

    The objective of this work was to propose teaching strategies supported by digital tools to strengthen the reading habit in Basic Secondary students of the Esperanza Eterna Educational Unit, Province of Pastaza, Puyo parish, La Primavera sector, during the 2023-2024 school year. Methodologically, it was limited to a quantitative, descriptive research, where a Likert scale was applied as a technique to collect data to the survey and as an instrument to the intentional sample of 31 children from the institution. The results show the need to make the proposal, given that many of the students prefer to carry out the activities with the help of an electronic device that has some virtual platform installed, so when they play, they also read and consequently learn, strengthening their reading habit. It was concluded that digital tools for promoting and strengthening the reading habit in children are very important, since through them, the interest that students bet on starting a habit, in this case that of reading, is demonstrated.
