This study traces the phenomenon of transgenericity in the poetry of Vicent Andrés Estellés from a dual perspective of literary genre and text genre. Analyzing the intersection between poetry, theater, memorial prose, and journalism in Estellés’ verse, the use of intergeneric subversion is illustrated as a macrostrategy to enrich the pragma-semantic dimension of his work. The research continues with the outline of two didactic sequences, one working with three text genres: the letter, the prayer, and the chronicle, and how they can be used to filter poetic style; and the other that uses the presence of universal literary subgenres in the poetry of Estellés, specifically the ode, the eclogue, and the haiku.
