  • Resumen
    • Green areas are fundamental within urban settlements and play a crucial role in maintaining the urban ecosystem and environment quality. The overall well-being of citizens is significantly affected by the quantity and quality of green spaces within a city.Rapid urbanization has exerted immense pressure on available land resources, leading to the encroachment upon existing open and green areas both within and around cities. As a consequence, the availability of green spaces in cities worldwide is decreasing at analarming rate, and the reliance on public green spaces has increased substantially. Therefore, the study identifies the critical areas deprived of PGS in Lucknow city.
