The assessment and safeguarding of the health status of the person in many European countries is no longer only examined in terms of presence/absence of diseases, but is presented as aholistic vision of health. This research starts from the Spanish case, studying and evaluating the “Plan de Salud de Aragón 2030”. The research goal is to verify if this tool can represent a best practice replicable in small and medium-sized centres. The results are preparatory to the identification of possible future scenarios aimed at anticipating the potential health risks in the Calabrian context(Italy) and planning strategies for its containment.
