  • Resumen
    • The term "rural" originated in relation to that of "countryside" and juxtaposed with that of "architecture" (rural architecture) indicates everything that meets the needs of 'agriculture. Theterm rural, extended to the landscape, evokes the visible manifestation in a given fraction of time of everything pertaining to the elements, functions and transformations made by man for specific agricultural productions. Forms of land use, countryside and capitalization of labor that have beenunplanned, formally and seemingly unregulated physical and formal structuring of spaces. Today's real challenge is to preserve the specificities and recognize their distinctive features in orderto maintain and enhance them, while also encouraging tourism and cultural functions, where economic ones are abandoned, as load-bearing attributes of the character of places.
