This study highlights the urgent need for more bicycle racks at public transport stations in São Paulo’s Metropolitan Region, given the increasing demand from cyclists. The research, usingdata from Metrô – SP and Ciclocidade, focuses on the Avenida Águia de Haia bike path. Findings reveal that current facilities are inadequate, deterring sustainable travel and impacting the ecosystem and public health. The study advocates for improved infrastructure to encourage cycling, particularly for longer journeys, and contribute to more sustainable urban mobility.
