The conservation of historical architectural heritage is a challenge to which must be added the complexity of the conservation of a real estate heritage that is alive and in constant use, as is the case of a contemporary art museum. This fact implies not only meeting the demands of the day to day, but also understanding the responsibility that comes with being the memory of the present. In order to fulfill this obligation satisfactorily, it is essential to research and learn about the past. This is the only way to guarantee a good future for these assets.
