    El desarrollo psicomotor en la primera infancia repercute en la adaptación y funcionalidad del individuo, por lo que se convierte en una necesidad conocer los factores que influyen en este proceso. Por tanto, esta investigación buscó analizar los avances científicos frente a los factores psicosociales incidentes en el desarrollo psicomotriz infantil de 0 a 6 años de edad, evidenciados en artículos de investigación empírica y de revisión publicados desde 2015 a 2020. El estudio se realizó mediante la técnica de mapeo, analizando 15 de 1086 documentos revisados en: Ebsco, Science Direct, Dialnet y Google Scholar. Se analizaron las características bibliométricas, la metodología y las conclusiones sobre factores psicosociales relacionados al desarrollo psicomotriz infantil. Los resultados sugieren brechas científicas y mayor incidencia de los factores sociales en el desarrollo psicomotriz infantil. Se concluye la necesidad de investigaciones predictivas y con metodología rigurosa, que comprueben la relación entre variables y las teorías que las sustentan.

    Psychomotor development in early childhood affects the adaptation and functionality of the individual, which is why it becomes a necessity to know the factors that affects this process. Therefore, the research analyzed scientific advances in the face of the psychosocial factors involved in the psychomotor development of children from 0 to 6 years of age, evidenced in empirical research and review articles published from 2015 to 2020. The study was done using the mapping technique, analyzing 15 from 1086 documents reviewed in: Ebsco, Science Direct, Dialnet and Google Scholar. Bibliometric characteristics, the methodology and the conclusions on psychosocial factors related to child psychomotor development were analyzed. The results suggest scientific gaps and higher incidence of social factors in child psychomotor development. At the end, this also leads to a need for new research with a predictive scope and rigorous methodology, which can verify the relationship between variables and the theories that support them.
