    A partir de las lecturas bilingües de poesía en el Cornelia Street Cafe(Manhattan-NY), Madeine Millán y Miguel Ángel Zapata comienzan a partir de 2016 a entrevistar poetas que son traductores.  Esta entrevista de Madeline Millán forma parte de un libro a publicarse titulado: “Benditos traductores: Poesía y traducción”. Entre los temas a discutirse, Alfredo Fressia aborda el tema de exilio y asilo. Y nos dice: "Muchos traductores son exiliados". Fressia también habla sobre la autotraducción, la transcreación y las combinaciones entre el español y otros idiomas, sobre todo del portuñol. En todas estas entrevistas invitamos al poeta a que nos presente una de sus traducciones y un poema propio. Al final aparecerá también una bibliografía mínima de lecturas/videos del autor que se encuentren en la internet. Con ello esperamos que los lectores sigan explorando la obra del poeta y traductor. El libro "Benditos traductores: Poesía y traducción" busca, además, explorar la movilidad o traducción entre géneros y disciplinas como fotografía y poesía o música y poesía.

    From the bilingual readings of poetry in the Cornelia Street Cafe (Manhattan-NY), Madeine Millán and Miguel Ángel Zapata begin in 2016 to interview poets who are translators. This interview by Madeline Millán is part of a book to be published entitled: "Benditos traductores: Poesía y Traducción". Among the topics to be discussed, Alfredo Fressia addresses the issue of exile and asylum. And he says: "Many translators are exiled." Fressia also talks about self-translation, transcreation and combinations between Spanish and other languages, especially the Portuguese language. In all these interviews we invite the poet to present us one of his translations and a poem of his own. At the end there will also be a minimum bibliography of readings / videos of the author that are on the internet. With this we hope that readers continue to explore the work of the poet and translator. The book "Blessed Translators: Poetry and Translation" also seeks to explore mobility or translation between genres and disciplines such as photography and poetry or music and poetry.
