    La lectura de algunos relatos de Ana María Shua nos permite analizar cómo el terror  es construido desde la relación entre monstruos y afectos. Justamente el miedo surge en estos textos en el seno de la familia donde se plantea un interrogante sobre la naturaleza del vínculo entre madres e hijos. Entre los niños devenidos en monstruos y la opresión de los mandatos sociales sobre la madre, los relatos instalan interrogantes que subvierten los órdenes establecidos  y desnaturalizan los roles sociales. Así, los textos se presentan como espacios de extrañeza desde donde se cuestionan los modos previsibles de las relaciones afectivas y se habilitan nuevas maneras de entender los vínculos.

    The reading of some stories by Ana María Shua allows us to analyze how terror is constructed from the relationship between monsters and affections. Precisely fear arises in these texts within the family where a question emerges about the nature of the bond between mothers and children. Among children turned into monsters and the oppression of social mandates on the mother, the stories install questions that subvert established orders and denaturalize social roles. Thus, the texts are presented as spaces of strangeness from which the foreseeable ways of affective relationships are questioned and new ways of understanding the links are enabled.
