  De manera asidua se propala que Bolivia tendría en toda su historia constitucional varias constituciones. Esta es una concepción formalista cuantitativa errónea de la Constitución boliviana, y en razón de ello, juzgo pertinente retomar la tesis de la unidad formulada en 1947 por el profesor Elío y secundada por autores como Trigo, Valencia y Galindo. Ergo, el presente escrito se abocará a rememorar, confirmar y extender la postura hasta la reforma constitucional de 2009.

  It is assiduously propagated that Bolivia would have in all its constitutional history several constitutions. However, this is an erroneous quantitative formalist conception of the Bolivian Constitution, and because of this, I consider it pertinent to retake the thesis of unity formulated in 1947 by Professor Elío and seconded by authors such as Trigo, Valencia and Galindo. Ergo, this paper will focus on recalling, confirming and extending the position up to the constitutional reform of 2009.
