    La consigna que guía la misión de la Universidad Católica Boliviana desde hace más de cincuenta años, veritas in caritate (la verdad en la caridad), es la combinación perfecta de los argumentos de Fromm: la búsqueda de la verdad como herramienta de emancipación a través de la ciencia (casi en el mismo espíritu del evangelio de Juan y la frase de “la verdad nos hará libres”) y la gestión del amor como herramienta devota del cambio social.

    The slogan that has guided the mission of the Universidad Católica Boliviana for more than fifty years, veritas in caritate (truth in charity), is the perfect combination of Fromm's arguments: the search for truth as a tool for emancipation through of science (almost in the same spirit of the Gospel of John and the phrase “the truth will set us free”) and the management of love as a devout tool of social change.
