    Las mujeres están inmersas en una estructura social en la que deben aceptar y reproducir constantemente todas las exigencias estéticas sobre de la presentación del cuerpo y la construcción de los roles y papeles a los que están sujetas históricamente. Estas demandas patriarcales provienen de lo que Judith Butler por ciertos códigos de vestimenta viabiliza la reproducción de estereotipos patriarcales y la reificación de las estudiantes de la Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo”, regional La Paz. Por otro lado, el estudio hace énfasis en la importancia de los estándares de belleza aceptados por ambos géneros, su influencia en la construcción de la identidad femenina y, paralelamente, en la convivencia entre mujeres.

    In the social structure, women are immersed in a scenario in which they must constantly accept and reproduce all the aesthetic demands surrounding the presentation of the body and the construction of the roles to which they are historically subject. This is due to the binary opposition between genders that derives from the patriarchal order. For this reason, the following article aims to explain the choices that students make when it comes to showing their bodies in the university environment through dress codes and how these choices generate the reproduction of patriarchal stereotypes and the reification of women (by men and by themselves) in the process of building the female identity.
