    La inquietud investigativa de este trabajo es la calidad periodística en Bolivia y cómo esta se desenvuelve. Después de un monitoreo de medios, se busca estudiar el comportamiento de los medios de comunicación en la estructuración y difusión de la noticia. Se logró demostrar que hay una representación diferenciada de hechos políticos entre Página Siete y La Razón, mediada por el sistema capitalista y a través del tipo y origen de la publicidad de ambos medios. Para evidenciar la representación diferenciada se analizaron elementos semióticos de las noticias políticas y el discurso que buscan emitir. La importancia del tema radica en que esta diferencia de discursos afecta a la calidad periodística y, por ende, a la capacidad crítica de las personas, además de polarizar la opinión pública.

    This work address the journalistic quality in Bolivia and how it develops. After a media monitoring, we seek to study the behavior of the media in the structuring and dissemination of news. It is possible to demonstrate that there is a differentiated representation of political events between Página Siete and La Razón, mediated by the capitalist system, through the type and origin of the publicity of both media. To demonstrate the differentiated representation, semiotic elements of the political news were analyzed, and the discourse that is intended to be issued. The importance of the subject lies in the fact that this difference in discourse affects the journalistic quality and, therefore, the critical capacity of the people, in addition to polarizing public opinion.
