    La presente investigación se centra en la búsqueda de percepciones de los ciudadanos cruceños sobre los 21 días de paro, como protesta ante las acciones inconstitucionales y las irregularidades durante las elecciones nacionales del 2019. Este recorrido documenta la memoria oral de los ciudadanos cruceños, aprovechando la frescura del recuerdo de los entrevistados y su deseo de participar en la construcción de una memoria común. Se realizaron 63 entrevistas a ciudadanos de distintas zonas de la ciudad, estratos sociales y ocupaciones. La recolección de la información se hizo durante los meses de septiembre, octubre y noviembre de 2020, antes y durante el periodo de nuevas elecciones nacionales. Las entrevistas apuntaron a conocer a las percepciones y sentimientos que impulsaron a la población cruceña a participar en una movilización no violenta, pionera en su magnitud y efectividad. El recorrido investigativo genera nuevas reflexiones, así como los hallazgos documentan un hito histórico reciente.

    This research focuses on the search for perceptions about the 21 days of blockades carried out by the citizens of Santa Cruz, as a protest over the unconstitutional and irregular actions during the 2019 National elections. This paper documents the oral memory of the citizens of Santa Cruz, thanks to the freshness of memory and the desire for citizen participation in the construction of a common memory. The interviews (63) were conducted with citizens from different areas of the city, social strata, and occupations. The information was collected during the months of September, October and November 2020, before and during the period of new National elections. The interviews highlighted the perceptions and feelings that moved the population of Santa Cruz to participate in a non-violent mobilization, pioneering in its magnitude and effectiveness. The research generates new reflections and the findings document a recent historical milestone.
