Resumen de Propuesta Académica sobre Política Científica para la Formación de Ingenieros

El siguiente texto presenta los aspectos conceptuales, estructurales, y programáticos para implementar el área de política científica y tecnológica, en el marco de la formación, la investigación y extensión, de la Facultad de ingeneiría de la Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia. El trabajo busca articular el contexto internacional de la política científica y tecnológica, con los avances nacionales, regionales e institucionales logrados en esta materia, a partir de la institucionalización del Sistema Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología colombiano, desde comienzos de la década de los 90. Con ello se espera apoyar los diferentes objetivos académicos e investigativos de la Universidad, así como fortalecer su Sistema de Investigación y Desarrollo.

At this paper, I introduce the conceptual, structural and pragmatic aspects to develop the area of the scientific and technological politic in the formation, research and extension structure of the Engineering School at the University of Valle, Cali, Colombia. To this project, I pretend to join the scientific and technological politic in the international, regional and institutional advances obtained at this fiel, at the beginning of this decade in Colombia, from the establishment of the National System of the Science and Technology. To this essay, I hope to assist the divers academic and investigative aims of the University and fortify it's Research and Development System.
